After purchase, you will receive a QR code by email. Scan it with your phone's camera to install the eSIM on your device. The eSIM activates, and your plan's validity starts, when it first connects to a network at your destination, so you can install it before you travel.

Log in to My Account with the email you used to buy the eSIM, then click View Balance next to your order. You can also email support@etravelsim.com with your order number.

Many plans can be topped up on our Recharge page. If your plan has no top-up there, email support@etravelsim.com with your order number and we'll help.

The unlimited data provided is intended for personal use on your device only. If you require mobile hotspot functionality, we offer separate plans catering to this feature. Your QR code arrives by email right after purchase. Install it before you travel, while connected to Wi-Fi:

1. Open Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular) → Add eSIM.
2. Tap Use QR Code and scan the QR code from your email. If you can't scan it, tap Enter Details Manually and type the SM-DP+ address and activation code from the same email.
3. Label the new line (for example "Travel") and keep your home SIM as the primary line for calls and SMS.
4. When you arrive, choose the travel eSIM for Mobile Data. Turn on Data Roaming for that line if your plan requires it.

The ETravelSim Bahrain eSIM works in Bahrain wherever the STC network is available. Signal and speed can vary by location and device.

The eSIM connects through STC, so service at the circuit depends on STC coverage there. Large events can slow mobile networks, so save tickets and maps to your phone before you go.

Yes. The ETravelSim Bahrain eSIM supports 4G and 5G on STC. You need a 5G phone and 5G coverage where you are. Otherwise, your phone uses 4G.

It depends on how you use your phone: choose a fixed plan if your use is light, or Unlimited if you don't want to track a total. Fixed plans are 1 GB for 7 days, or 3, 5, 10, 20 or 50 GB for 30 days. Unlimited plans last 1, 3, 5, 7, 15 or 30 days and include 4 GB of high-speed data per day, then 1 Mbps until the allowance resets 24 hours later. Hotspot is available on fixed plans only.

Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network in Bahrain, not when you buy or install it. You can install the QR code before you travel, so you know it is set up before boarding. Don't delete the eSIM profile after installation, because reinstallation may not be possible.

The ETravelSim Bahrain eSIM is data-only, with no phone number, regular calls or SMS. You can call over data with apps such as WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype or Zoom. Keep your home SIM active for calls and SMS to your usual number, with mobile data turned off on that line.

Hotspot is allowed on the fixed-data plans (1, 3, 5, 10, 20 and 50 GB), but not on Unlimited plans. Data you share counts toward your plan allowance.

Choose a local SIM if you need a Bahraini phone number; if you only need data, this eSIM lets you get set up before you travel. You buy it online, receive the QR code by email, and need no physical card. A local SIM is bought in person, so check the operator's requirements and prices first.

No. The ETravelSim Bahrain eSIM covers Bahrain only, so it won't provide data in Saudi Arabia. For a trip to both countries, ETravelSim sells a separate Saudi Arabia eSIM that you can add to the same compatible phone and select for mobile data after you cross.

First turn Airplane Mode on and off, check that Data Roaming is on for the eSIM, and make sure the eSIM is selected for mobile data.
