Thoughts

Purchasing the E-sim was fast and smooth however, if I want to top-up additional Data it doesn't allow me instead I was forced to buy a new promo which is kinda hastle.

First time user, found it went really well

My first time purchasing & using an ESim, did the purchase prior to travel and activated once I landed, which did cost me one day on my home phone plan for overseas roam to do that, I guess I should have hooked into the airport free wifi to do that last step. From then on it was a breeze and very pleased I had it as allowed me full access to my Messenger etc which I couldnt use on the China free hotel wifi.

Very good for the most part

We got the unlimited 10 day plan while in China. Uploaded hundreds of photos to our Google photos, used Didi (data hog), Alipay, YouTube with no problems.

Pros: decently fast internet.
Cons: occasion blackout but could mostly be "reset" using airplane mode on/off. Did not get a QR activation code immediately so I had to bug them for it and eventually got it a day later after messaging via WhatsApp. Had to restart to get the internet to work, which was not documented

In China don’t work as expected

In china didn’t work as expected at the beginning, I needed to wait a long time until the esim recognized that I was in china. The first hours the esim and the handy recognized only the position from the vpn server connection
