First time user, found it went really well

My first time purchasing & using an ESim, did the purchase prior to travel and activated once I landed, which did cost me one day on my home phone plan for overseas roam to do that, I guess I should have hooked into the airport free wifi to do that last step. From then on it was a breeze and very pleased I had it as allowed me full access to my Messenger etc which I couldnt use on the China free hotel wifi.

Hi Paula, we're so glad to hear your experience went smoothly and that our eSIM helped you stay connected in China! Thanks for sharing your tips, and we hope to serve you again soon.

Hi Rinie, we're thrilled to hear you found the China eSIM perfect! Thanks for your wonderful review and for choosing ETravelSim. Safe travels!

It didnt work in china, despite using vpn

I think the esim is based in Singapore so you avoid some of the great firewall which is great

Max, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad the China eSIM worked well for you and helped provide a smooth browsing experience during your trip.

Very good for the most part

We got the unlimited 10 day plan while in China. Uploaded hundreds of photos to our Google photos, used Didi (data hog), Alipay, YouTube with no problems.

Pros: decently fast internet.
Cons: occasion blackout but could mostly be "reset" using airplane mode on/off. Did not get a QR activation code immediately so I had to bug them for it and eventually got it a day later after messaging via WhatsApp. Had to restart to get the internet to work, which was not documented

Danny, thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re glad the China eSIM delivered strong performance for your travel needs, and we appreciate your honest comments regarding activation and connectivity resets. Your feedback helps us improve the experience further.

In China don’t work as expected

In china didn’t work as expected at the beginning, I needed to wait a long time until the esim recognized that I was in china. The first hours the esim and the handy recognized only the position from the vpn server connection

Fast and functional

The sim was delivered within seconds and worked as expected. In China there is no other way to access the real internet. So glad this service exists.

Stefan, glad the China eSIM delivered fast and worked as expected. Happy we could help you access the real internet easily.

China eSIM
