ご購入後、QRコードがメールで届きます。スマホのカメラで読み取ると、eSIMが端末にインストールされます。eSIMは目的地で初めてネットワークに接続した時点で有効になり、プランの有効期間もそこから始まるため、出発前にインストールしておけます。

スマートフォンがeSIMに対応しているか確認する方法は？

*#06#に発信して、EID番号が表示されればeSIMに対応しています。あわせてSIMロックが解除されている必要があります。お使いの機種はeSIM対応端末ページでも確認できます。

旅行中、公衆Wi-FiよりeSIMを使うほうが良いのはなぜですか？

eSIMのモバイルデータ通信はモバイルネットワークによって暗号化されますが、公衆Wi-Fiはオープンな共有回線であることが多く、通信を傍受されやすくなります。また、海外 eSIMならカフェやホテルの外でもインターネットにつながります。

無制限プランでテザリング（ホットスポット）は使えますか？

Everything worked perfect in Mauritius!

I used this esim on my Google Pixel 8 Pro for Mauritius. The setup was easy by just scanning the QR code. The local provider was myt (Mauritius Telekom / Orange) which seems to be the best one. I've had nearly everywhere reception and could use my phone just like at home. I could even provide a local hotspot for my wife since she had problems with her esim (different provider).

Die Übermittlung und Installation, der eSIM hat gut geklappt. Die Verbindung mit dieser Karte in Afrika funktioniert gut.
Nach ein paar Tagen bekommt man allerdings laufend eine SMS, in der man sich registrieren soll. Wenn man auf dem Link zu Registrierung klickt, wird eine 13-stellige eSIM verlangt, diese gibt es aber nicht. Die hat viel mehr Stellen. Und kann nicht eingegeben werden. Eine Antwort auf die SMS ist nicht möglich..

Observation

The eSIM is something commendable and worth buying but it will be nice to increase the data quantity a bit just to at least serve we seafarers longer in just a month of usage .

It works but only 10Gb

It does work in Tanzania but beware instead of 20Gb it only gives 10Gb at least for Tanzania. Though I think (but cannot verify) the same limitation will apply to any African country as they should all be in Zone3 despite what customer service says. And only Zone1 gives you 20Gb.

After complaining the customer service reached me and immedeatelly give me another eSim. So at the end I got my 20Gb and is quite satisfied.

The SIM was great if you are to stay within the city areas. Slightly outside towards the North rendered you without signal and comms. My South African Vodacom SIM was able to make and receive calls in the areas that the e-SIM was having no comms

Most of the time is not working

I can connect Internet 10 minutes, then disconnected. I have to wait another 30 minutes or more to get reconnected. Garbage !
