Which Portuguese network does the eSIM use?

Portugal has three major mobile networks: MEO (Altice Portugal — largest with strongest nationwide and rural coverage), Vodafone Portugal (strong urban performance and 5G), and NOS (third-largest, independently rated as the strongest network on Madeira). Multi-network travel eSIMs typically connect to whichever local carrier has the strongest signal in your location. For rural Alentejo or Douro travel, MEO has the broadest reach; for Madeira specifically, NOS is the gold standard. Confirm the specific network with ETravelSim support before purchase if your itinerary includes the islands.
