Needed the support from the team to get it running on my iPhone 12 Pro

At first I didn‘t work on my iPhone with the (then) latest iOS 16.4.1. Contact the support via email and the responded to my email within 90 minutes. They mentioned that they fixed the issue (got an error at first that the PDP authentication failed), yet it still didn‘t work. Sent another email and was then asked to check with their support via WhatsApp. The WhatsApp colleague was great and after some screenshot exchange and guidance, it does now work for me, after I adjusted the settings. Thanks so much for the fast support, even on a Saturday.

BTW: This was my first time I ever tried an eSIM for data traffic, yet will definitely consider it again. Will consider eTravelSim again for that, as it is more convenient when traveling alone compared to using an external hotspot. Note: You can‘t share the data by creating a hotspot for another person as documented clearly in their FAQ‘s. However, no issue, as I‘m traveling alone. Another reason why I selected eTravelSim was the easy payment via ApplePay, no clumsy registration or anything like that.
