Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid launches a 'unified tourism identity' for UAE
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Saturday announced through his twitter account a new “unified tourism identity” for the country.
"In the desert of the UAE ... I launched a unified tourism identity for the country and a government strategy to promote domestic tourism, in the presence of local tourism authorities and a national campaign named 'The Most Beautiful Winter in the World'," he tweeted.
"Domestic tourism contributes Dh41 billion to our local economy and we seek to multiply this number.
"We have launched a unified tourism identity for the country because we want to be a unified tourist destination, with a unified national economy and opportunities for all the UAE youth. Working as an Emirati team in the tourism sector will have a positive impact on the region and consolidate our global reputation as one diverse and rich destination," he tweeted.
In winter everything is beautiful, and the Emirati winter is "the most beautiful winter in the world".
"The UAE has the most delightful winter, people, and services that any tourist can enjoy. I invite everyone to travel across the UAE and explore the spirit of the Emirates."
